Pulaski County Treasurer Debra Buckner is leading Arkansas county government by using innovative technology to better serve citizens. From pioneering online tax payments to utilizing automated and artificial intelligence-based approaches to deliver quality service, Buckner is breaking down barriers in the citizen experience to meet taxpayers where they are. In September 2020, her office became the first in the state to provide walk-in tax payments after COVID-19 closed the Treasurer’s public offices. Additionally, her office partnered with local Centennial Bank locations to expand in-person tax payments even further by providing drive-up payments using the bank’s existing technology and lane facilities.
