North Dakota education technology council names director
The North Dakota Education Technology Council has named Jody French as its new director.
French previously served as the state’s EduTech director for the past 16 years. At NDETC, she will be responsible for developing technology systems for elementary and secondary education.
French has served as an elementary teacher in Wyndmere and Grafton Public Schools. She also worked as an in-service specialist for North Valley CTC before coming to EduTech.
As EduTech director, French successfully managed implementation, deployment and evaluation of statewide IT initiatives. She worked with other state technology and education leaders developing long range plans to improve the teaching and learning for North Dakota students.
“I couldn’t be more excited about improving teaching and learning with the use of technology,” she said.
