State Leadership of the Year

Under the leadership of DeAngela Burns-Wallace, Kansas has seen an update of the state’s IT resources as well as IT policy. Her successes over the year include, but are not limited to, equipping state employees and agencies with IT resources as they transitioned to remote work, the acceptance of the State of Kansas into the National Governor’s Association 2021 Policy Academy to Advance Whole-of-State Cybersecurity in March 2021 and the migration of the data center from 2020-2021.
