NASTD names 2025 executive board members
The National Association of State Technology Directors on Thursday named the members of its 2025 executive board, which will be responsible for leading the organization over the next year.
The group, which is comprised of state information technology professionals from all 50 states, and the private sector, named Joe Homan, regional site support administrator for Nebraska, as its new president.
Andy Ogan, South Dakota’s tele enterprise architect manager, will serve as vice president. Cindy Smith, West Virginia’s deputy chief information officer, will be NASTD’s secretary and treasurer.
Other members of the 2025 board include Jim Lipinski, Vermont’s shared services director, who will serve as NASTD’s eastern region president. Craig Felchle, North Dakota’s chief technology officer, will serve as its western region president. Bryan Falk, Nebraska’s IT supervisor, will serve as midwestern region president and David Tucker, Texas’ strategic digital services director, is southern region president.
The organization’s most recent president, Kentucky’s executive director of infrastructure services, Rick Woodruff, will remain on the board as well.
Along with strategic planning and policy shaping, the group also produces reports with member insights into public sector technology trends. NASTD published a report last month detailing the mixed attitudes of state technology leaders towards generative artificial intelligence and other types of AI, which drew on survey responses from top technology officials in 42 states.
