Kristin Russell, Colorado’s secretary of technology, was a guest writer for Google’s Enterprise Blog on Monday where she wrote about innovation in Colorado state government.
The post highlights the state’s use of Google Apps for Government as well Google Sites and how they have helped some recent initiatives in the state, including how the state set up ColoradoUnited.com to assist flood victims in recovery.
“Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper often talks about the ‘three E’s’ – making government more efficient, effective and elegant,” Russell wrote. “In Colorado, we in the Governor’s Office of Information Technology are in the business of using innovative technology to accomplish just that.”
