Under Nancy Bohannan’s leadership, Red Hat helps agencies maintain existing IT assets while freeing resources for modernization efforts, like cloud-native development and hybrid cloud. For example, Red Hat helped the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) build a cloud-ready digital service solution with containers. By automating infrastructure management with Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat OpenShift, Michigan created an efficient foundation to support its adoption of cloud computing. Red Hat also teamed with Deloitte to move the State of Washington Health Insurance Exchange to a cloud environment, reducing costs by eliminating unused servers in 100 days.
