Sri Karra and his team in Jefferson County are the first state and local government organization in the United States to migrate 100 percent of their mainframe to the cloud. Despite the obstacles 2020 presented, the project was completed early in just 14 months instead of the planned 24. The move will save the county $600,000 a year.
