Since joining Google Cloud as vice president of public sector in June 2019, Mike Daniels has driven Google Cloud’s commitment to helping state agencies modernize and adapt to new pressures facing local government. Daniels has overseen Google Cloud’s work with the State of Arizona and State of Colorado to drive operational efficiencies and improve citizen services, while helping New York City Cyber Command detect and respond to threats at scale. Daniels led Google Cloud to receive FedRAMP High ATO for 17 products in five cloud regions, allowing state agencies to run compliant workloads at the highest civilian classification level.
