David Elges

Elges is the chief information officer for Boston, Mass.

Since November 2018, David Elges has been the citywide chief information officer for the city of Boston. Previously, he was the CIO for Washington, D.C.’s Child and Family Services Agency. His career extends back to the 1990s, having also served as director of international admissions, director of IT operations and chief data officer for Strayer University in Herndon, Virginia, where he obtained his master’s degree in management information systems.
