The Texas Department of Information Services awarded a cloud services contract to Virginia-based DLT Solutions, the company announced Wednesday.
The contract will allow DIR to procure cloud-ready solutions from Amazon Web Services through DLT, one of the company’s value-added resellers, for the state’s government operations and educational institutions.
The contract also includes associated managed services from DLT Solutions.
The company did not disclose the length or monetary value of the contract.
“Adding a new Texas DIR contract for AWS products and solutions opens up a much sought after avenue for customers in the state of Texas looking to move to the cloud,” Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions, said in a released statement.
