NASCIO uses its strategic plan to guide the development of its annual business plan and supporting performance measurement. The initiatives highlighted are determined by the organization’s executive committee after assessing state member priorities and national technology trends. You can read it here.

During the interview, Orgeron discusses the plan and how it will guide the organization going forward, along with previewing NASCIO’s upcoming conference in Nashville, Tennessee Orgeron also discussed a number of key projects he is currently working on in Mississippi.
