Peter Korst has been a true partner for the state of Illinois. He led IBM’s response during the pandemic and the accompanying need to scale-out capabilities to manage the exponential growth in traffic on critical apps was irreplaceable, from contact tracing to vaccine tracking to employment benefits. IBM gathered multiple teams with specialized skillsets to help state teams respond quickly and build out infrastructure and integrate new technologies previously not utilized.
