Greg Scott is the chief technology officer for Fairfax County, one of the largest counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Scott took the helm of the department of information technology in 2019 after a more than 35-year career in IT. Before taking over as director, Scott spent 26 years with Fairfax County government where he served as deputy director of information technology. He also lead the county’s e-government and enterprise architecture division which is the focal point for county digital services.
