Georgians may not care much which state government agency provides which service — they just need the service or information, and they expect easy access to it online. GovHub, Georgia’s new digital platform, answers that expectation. The Digital Services Georgia team, led by Chief Digital Officer Nikhil Deshpande, built GovHub and migrated 77 agency websites to it throughout 2019. They built it with the people, interviewing agency webmasters, stakeholders and Georgians to understand their needs. The platform features new branding and promotes a consistent look and message across state websites. That builds trust and speeds Georgians to what they’re after.
