Corey Mercy is the deputy chief technology officer for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services where he coordinates new and emerging technology strategy and implementation across the department. Mercy is a subject matter expert on digital health policy, emerging technology and cloud adoption. Before taking on the role of deputy CTO, Mercy was the director of health IT for the department, and before that worked in technology roles in the healthcare sector. Mercy is passionate about improving and supporting the lives of North Carolinians with disruptive technology.
