“Robotic process automation”

In recent years, RPA, “robotic process automation,” is definitely something that doesn’t roll off your tongue well when talking to business folks and talking about exciting opportunities to do things differently. If you just drop that term, you’re going to lose half your audience and it feels like you really are talking down to them. And there’s an aspect of “robotic” that puts people on the defensive right away. They’re envisioning something very different than what it is, so it’s almost like “vaccine passport.”
