New Wyoming CIO to prioritize cybersecurity, modernization

On today’s episode of the Priorities Podcast, new Wyoming CIO Bill Vajda talks to StateScoop’s Benjamin Freed about his vision for the future of IT in the state.

Vajda comes to Wyoming after a stint as the CIO for the U.S. Department of Interior, and before that as CIO of Alaska. He replaces former Wyoming CIO Gordon Knopp, who stepped down last year after a health data leak.

Also on the show, Auth0’s Salman Ladha emphasizes the growing importance of identity and access management in state and local government.
