New Jersey selects Tyler Technologies for three-year IT services contract
The IT services provider Tyler Technologies announced Thursday that it was awarded a three-year contract with New Jersey, continuing its longstanding business relationship.
The contract will provide IT services, such as tax filings, appointment scheduling and business certifications, to several New Jersey agencies, including the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, the Division of Taxation, Motor Vehicle Commission and the Department of Labor.
The contract builds on the state’s 15-year relationship with Tyler Technologies, which claims to have served more than 3,000 state and local government agencies across New Jersey since 2009, according to its announcement.
“We are thrilled to have been selected by the State of New Jersey to provide world-class software and solutions to our partner agencies that continue to improve the way residents and businesses interact with their state government,” Michael LeBlanc, general manager of Tyler Technologies’ New Jersey business, said in the press release.
Under the new contract, which may be extended for two additional years, the firm will also provide state police background checks, firearm-related services for licenses, permits to purchase, retired police officers and concealed carry permits.
New Jersey has also extended Tyler’s contract for credit card processing services for another year.
