As the leader of Lumen Technologies’ state, local and education team, Ramsey helped pioneer and deliver a unique pop-up solution for securing election polling kiosks and electronic pollbooks in New York City during the 2019 election season. From delivering next-generation 911 solutions to supporting smart cities and smart campuses, Ramsey collaborates with state and local governments to help them successfully navigate their journey to digital transformation.

In September 2020 — after the nominations and voting period for the StateScoop 50 Awards had concluded — CenturyLink announced it would rebrand as Lumen Technologies. Ramsey’s title was previously regional vice president of sales, public sector at CenturyLink.
