GoldenGov: State Executive of the Year

David Edinger was appointed as the State of Colorado’s chief information officer in November 2023. Edinger leads nearly 1,100 employees and oversees a $373 million annual budget and $1 billion in federal grant spending for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology. Edinger joined the state after serving the City and County of Denver for more than 15 years.
