Not all state TikTok bans are built equally

Nearly half of all states have banned TikTok from government use, only a few have extended those bans to other Chinese-owned tech companies.

South Dakota governor bans TikTok on state devices

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said TikTok's ownership by a Chinese parent company makes it a "growing national security threat."
