Craig Orgeron
GoldenGov: State Executive of the Year
Craig Orgeron is the chief information officer for the State of Mississippi. Orgeron joined the state government is 1997, and was named CIO in 2011. In 2020, Orgeron stepped down to take roles as an executive government adviser for Amazon Web Services and executive in residence for business intelligence and digital strategy at Millsaps College, before returning to serve again as Mississippi state CIO in June 2024.
