Arijit Sarkar, Chief Information Officer for the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), has played a pivotal role in advancing the state’s K-12 digital modernization efforts and strengthening the broader Arkansas public-sector IT ecosystem. Under his leadership, ADE’s Office of Information Technology has overseen the design, development, and deployment of multiple enterprise platforms within the ADE Data Center environment, including the Arkansas Application Portal (AR-APP) which consolidates 17 separate federal and state planning applications into a unified strategic planning system for school districts statewide.
