San Francisco punts ‘killer robot’ question back to committee

San Francisco will spend more time considering whether, and under which circumstances, the city’s police department may use its fleet of land-based robots to kill people.

San Francisco supervisors approve police use of ‘killer robots’

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted 8-3 to let police use robots to kill suspects in "extraordinary circumstances."
