The Administration for Children and Families launched new interactive map to help states move faster on child welfare prevention plans.

Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana and Tennessee are on performance improvement plans, designed to reduce the number of children entering foster care and make more homes available.

Many agencies worry their data isn't clean enough, but proponents of predictive algorithms said they've seen them produce favorable outcomes in child welfare.
