Bob Bohn, Cloud Computing Program Manager, NIST

Bob Bohn, of the Applied and Computational Sciences Division in NIST/ITL, serves as the Reference Architecture Lead for the NIST Cloud Computing Program. In this role, he works with industrial, academic and other government stakeholders to develop a high-level vendor neutral reference architecture and taxonomy under the NIST Strategy for Developing a U.S. Government Cloud Computing Roadmap. This architecture and taxonomy will be used as a frame of reference to facilitate communication, illustrate and understand how clouds services and components fit together for all levels of government.

Kevin Sherry, Senior Director, Red Hat Consulting Public Sector

Kevin Sherry is Senior Director, Red Hat Consulting Public Sector, where he is responsible for driving innovative open source programs for the Federal and State/Local/Education government markets. His responsibilities include all aspects of business development, program management and project delivery; he serves as a liaison between Red Hat Consulting and the Red Hat & JBoss teams. Mr. Sherry manages the Red Hat teams responsible for the design, development and implementation of enterprise open source solutions and clouds within top government departments, bureaus and agencies.

Tim Silk, Senior Manager – Systems Engineering, Cisco

Tim Silk leads Cisco’s technology specialist teams in cloud, data center, collaboration and enterprise networking for the Federal market. He doubles as the engineering lead for data center technologies and solutions across the public sector, including federal, state and local government and education markets. He is a 25-year veteran in government IT.

Wyatt Kash, Vice President – Content Strategy , Scoop News Group

Wyatt Kash is an accomplished business media executive and award-winning editor and journalist who has been following government IT trends for the past decade in senior leadership roles at InformationWeek Government, AOL Government, Government Computer News and Defense Systems. He joined Scoop News Group in June 2014, as Vice President of Content Strategy, where he heads up the company’s content strategy and editorial product development.
