Generative AI one piece of New Jersey’s innovation plans, official says

On this week’s Priorities podcast, New Jersey Chief Innovation Officer Dave Cole says digital services are a top focus as he steps into the role. He joins the podcast after taking the helm of the state’s innovation team in January. Cole says he’s looking to incorporate generative artificial intelligence into agency processes to save time. Cole takes on the innovation role after starting at the state in 2020 as an innovation fellow. He ran for public office, worked for the software company Mapbox and served in the White House under former President Barack Obama.
