Information consortium selected as winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards

The Telly Awards has named Hawaii Information Consortium (eHawaii.gov) as a Bronze winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for their video piece titled The New Hawaii.gov Website.   With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.

In the spring of 2013, eHawaii.gov worked with the Office of Information Management & Technology to redesign the State portal website, Hawaii.gov. The new Hawaii.gov might just be the coolest government website you have ever seen. The touch-first design, Hawaiian themes, dynamic data and enhanced search represent a huge evolutionary step forward in government web sites. There is so much packed into the new portal we decided to make a video to showcase its new features. This Telly Award is the 7th award to be received in honor of Hawaii.gov since it’s release in April 2013.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
